As our billing manager - savant skills to be the best include: In-depth knowledge of billing compliance issues and proper coding practices. Detailed familiarity with a variety of medical billing concepts, practices, and procedures. Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Thorough understanding of various revenue sources, including governmental, private insurance and self-pay sources, with strong knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid required. Thorough knowledge of current claims processing and adjudication process and procedures. Knowledge of the Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) and Meaningful Use (MU). Knowledge of ICD-10 diagnosis coding system. Knowledge of Electronic Health Record (E.H.R.) systems and their integration with the practice management system (with respect to proper documentation to support the level of code billed and possible automation opportunities). Demonstrates extensive billing knowledge. Address physician questions and concerns.
