What is the minimum equipment & staff needed for startup

Hello Valued Members,

I got a prescription for new eye glasses, and realized that there is no optical shop close to my home!!

There is a real need -if not huge, based on the demographic- for an optical shop in the area, and I want to fill that gap!!

Problem is, I am an engineer by profession and have no clue about optometry!!

I am in the early stages of conducting a feasibility study, and I have some questions that I would really appreciate your help:

1. Since I want to start small, In term of equipment what is the minimum that I need. Is it possible to lease or rent
2. In term of staff, what do I need.

• Optician
• Lab technician
• what else
