Schedule template ideas

We are currently reviewing our current schedule template to see if we can squeeze in some more patients throughout the day. We have recently added electronic phoroptor, integrated autorefractor, lensometer to our 2 lanes. This is all integrated into our practice management software. We are getting ready to add a second tech and utilize them both as scribes. We do have a room that could be used as a third lane, albeit with a manual phoroptor. We have the one doctor that can go fairly quickly when he doesn't get stuck talking, the scribes will help with that.

Does anybody out there have any ideas? The template that is currently used goes long, then medium or 2 short, repeat. The doctor works with the long patient while the medium is being pretested and so on.
