Well-established, busy full-scope private practice in Kodiak Island, AK region is searching for a full-time optometrist.

The island has a good school system, mild climate, hunting (deer & elk) fishing, golf course, airport, ferry, shopping and restaurants.

The practice offers:

• Practice standard & medical optometry
• Future partnership or ownership potential at two-doctor practice
• Work with lots of Macular Degeneration and Glaucoma
• EHR
• Full age range of patients, many need medical optometry
• 4 lanes and 2 pre-test rooms
• See 2 patients per hour
• Tech does pre-testing
• Health, Dental, Vision, Malpractice and CE included
• 4 weeks’ vacation
• Hours Mon-Fri 8:00-5:00 PM – No Saturdays
• Partial list of State-of-the-Art Equipment: Cirrus HD-OCT, Lipiview, Lipiflow, Optomap Retinal Exam, Forsee PHP, GDx
• Dry Eye Practice
• Co-manage Cataracts
• Spanish is a plus but not required
• Compensation $100K + monthly bonuses

Requirements: O.D. licensed to practice in AK required.
