1) What has a stronger resistance to scratches without any coatings, trivex or high index 1.61 mr-8 plastic ? Is it significant?
2) How big of a difference does adding a scratch coating to a trivex or a high index mr-8 lens make?
I have a pair of 1.61 MR-8 polarized lenses that didn't have a scratch coat put on them, i'm pretty rough on them and still no issues, but maybe my idea of rough and a consumers would be different.
