Great opportunity to work above Albuquerque in Rio Rancho, NM. This entire region has a rich culture and heritage, rooted in centuries of history. Sun shines 310 days a year-perfect for outdoor activities.

It is the ballooning capital of the world – hosts the world’s largest hot air balloon festival! You can explore living history museums, enjoy Albuquerque events and festivals, sample local cuisines or hit the golf courses and spas. Resorts, racetrack and casinos are in the region. The University of New Mexico campus is also there.

This well-established, primary care practice has a full time opening for an optometrist!

Highlights of the practice are:

• Patient focused - 10 – 12 patients a day
• Work Monday - Friday - NO SATURDAYS
• Tech does pre-testing and history
• Mostly young adults to elderly
• Have a full-time pediatric OD on staff
• EHR
• Some pre-op and post-op Lasik management
• Working with Dry Eye
• 85% General Optometry & 15% Medical Optometry
• Benefits include Health (practice covers 75% of employee health insurance)
• Compensation is $117K

Preferred: O.D. licensed in NM.
