Optometric Technician (North Las Vegas)
We are a well-established private optometric practice in Nevada that has been providing premium eye care to the North Las Vegas community for 10 years. We are seeking a full time Optometric Technician with optical experience to join our team. If you are seeking a long-term position and have a strong commitment to customer service, this is the right fit for you!
Responsibilities for the position include:
- Obtains and records patient's preliminary case history
- Performs accurate and consistent pre-testing and documentation
- Communicating with doctors, staff, and patients
- Assist the doctor as needed
- Reading patient prescriptions
- Back up all front desk functions anytime there is not a patient to work up
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous pre-test technician experience
- Have previous optical dispensary experience
- Have strong communication skills
- High school diploma at a minimum
